Acupuncture Continuing Education FAQ

How does it work?

Getting started is simple – once you purchase a course, an account will be created for you so you can sign in, take your course, and receive your certificates.  All courses are completed online – there is no emailing back and forth for courses or waiting for certificates.  Once you pass the quiz, your certificate will be immediately accessible.
Here are the steps to get started:
  • Add a course or package to your Cart and go to the Check-out page.
  • Complete all the required fields.  You will use your E-mail Address to sign in, & your password can be whatever you like.  Please make a note of the password you enter.
  • Place your order.
  • You will then be re-directed to the My Courses page, where your newly purchased courses will be.
  • Read the material.  Take the quiz and complete a short survey.  Submit your answers.
  • Receive your “ACE” Certificate!  ACE will report your PDAs to the NCCAOM on the same or next business day.   Read more below to find out how to obtain your official NCCAOM certificate copy.

Where do I go to find CEUs/PDAs?

Get started by clicking here → Acupuncture CEU Courses Online, or by clicking the Acupuncture CEU tab at the top of the page, where you will find a list of boards/states to choose from along with their associated acupuncture CEU requirements.

What kind of format are ACE Acupuncture Continuing Education Courses?

Many of the courses we offer are distance learning reading material, followed by a quiz you will need to complete to receive your certificate.  We also offer a few courses that are in video format.  The format of the course will be identified on the product page for you to see before you add the course to your cart.
Both course formats include a short quiz.  Once you pass the quiz, your certificate will be immediately accessible to you in your ACE Account.  We also offer LIVE CEU Webinars from time-to-time. To become notified of  future Live CEU Webinars, please contact us to subscribe to the ACE newsletter.

When do I receive my certificate?

You will receive an “ACE” certificate of completion after you have successfully completed the course.
ACE will report your CEUs/PDAs to the NCCAOM on the same or next business day.  Once your PDAs are reported, you will receive an email from the NCCAOM which contains access to your official NCCAOM certificate copy.
Save the official copy for your records:  Please print and/or save the official copy to your computer as an image or PDF file, and retain this copy for 4 years from the date of completion of the course.
If you have any technical issues with accessing an “ACE certificate” or official NCCAOM Certificate copy for a course you completed, please call or email us so we can assist you.

I have questions about my acupuncture continuing education requirements, where do I go to get them answered?

If you have any questions about your acupuncture CEUs/PDAs courses, feel free to reach out to us and we will do our best to find an answer to your question, or point you in the right direction.  If you have specific questions regarding the current status of your license or regarding a lapsed license, we recommend contacting your state licensing board or organization directly.
We recommend that you actively check your state board website for current PDA/CEU requirements and to stay up to date on renewal deadlines.

Will you submit my certificates to my State Board?

We do not submit any certificates on behalf of licensed acupuncturists to State Boards via e-mail or regular e-mail – this is the responsibility of the licensee.  If you have questions about submitting your renewal certificates and how to do so, please contact your board directly.  If you have completed CEUs for Florida, we will report the CEU credits you have completed to CE Broker.

What certificate copies should I use to submit to my State Board?

If your state acupuncture board requires certificates of completion to be submitted to them for acupuncture license renewal, please use the official NCCAOM certificate copy.  Official NCCAOM certificate copies are sent via email for NCCAOM approved courses only.  The subject line of this email will say, “Congratulations!…”
If you are having trouble finding your official NCCAOM certificate copy, please contact us for assistance.

Do you report my completed PDAs to the NCCAOM?

Yes, ACE will report the PDAs you complete to the NCCAOM.  Once reported, you will receive an automatic email from the NCCAOM with your official NCCAOM certificate copy.  The subject line of this email will say “Congratulations!..”  Please retain a copy of this certificate for your records for 4 years from the date of completion of the course.

When will my completed PDAs be sent to the NCCAOM?

ACE Reports PDAs to the NCCAOM on the same or next business day.  If you complete your course on a weekday (Monday-Friday) your PDAs will usually be reported on the same or next business day.  If you complete your course on Saturday or Sunday, your PDAs will be reported on the following Monday.
Once the PDAs are reported, the PDAs should reflect within your NCCAOM Portal.  You will also receive an automatic email from the NCCAOM with your official NCCAOM certificate copy. Please save copies of the certificates you received in your inbox for your records.

Will ACE report my CPR certificate to the NCCAOM to fulfill my CPR requirement?

No.  While ACE participates in the new online NCCAOM certificate distribution system, the NCCAOM has informed us that the CPR course certificate must be submitted by the diplomat, not the provider.  Please save the ACE certificate copy you received for the CPR course completion for your records.  Here is a helpful link from the NCCAOM website on how to report your CPR certificate: https://www.nccaom.org/wp-content/uploads/pdf/Reporting_CPR_Coursework_Feb._20.pdf

Do you report credits to CE Broker?

Yes.

When do you report my credits to CE Broker?

Once you pass the course your credits will be reported automatically in the next 15 business days or sooner.  Please make sure that your Florida License number is included in your ACE account so we can report your CE to CE Broker.  If you need assistance adding your license number, please contact us at acucontinuingeducation@gmail.com.

What are your provider numbers?

NCCAOM 1208.  California Board 1304.  Florida Board 50-19152.

What is your Refund Policy?

Course content is instantly available to the Course Participant after purchase, so therefore course fees are non-refundable.  If you intended to purchase a specific course and there was a mistake in your order, please let us know and we will exchange the course for you.
No refunds will be granted after certificates of course completion have been given to the participant, and PDAs have been reported to the NCCAOM, for an online course or a live webinar.
