South Carolina Acupuncture Continuing Education Requirements

The State of South Carolina requires NCCAOM Certification for acupuncture license renewal. For NCCAOM Approved courses, please visit the NCCAOM PDA or CEU course page.

Per the requirements of the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners:

Acupuncturists

• Proof of current NCCAOM certification

Detoxification Specialists

• Proof of current NADA certification
• Proof of successful completion of Clean Needle Technique Course

Auricular Therapists

• Proof of current NADA certification
• Proof of successful completion of Clean Needle Technique Course
• Proof of certification as having been trained to utilize auricular points only
