North Carolina Acupuncture Continuing Education CEUs

Requirements:

North Carolina requires licensed acupuncturists to complete 40 CEUs every two years.  The North Carolina Acupuncture Board accepts up to 28 hours of NCCAOM approved PDA courses  that may be used toward your acupuncture continuing education requirements.

The courses offered for North Carolina on this page are NCCAOM approved, and are strictly on the topics of Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and/or Chinese Herbology.

Special Requirements:

  • 15 hours shall contain course content related to the insertion of acupuncture needles and the application of moxibustion to the human body.

Biomedicine-related CEU/PDA courses are not accepted by the North Carolina Acupuncture Board.
